Born on March 19, 1914 in the village. Kokuy, now the Uporovsky district of the Tyumen region. After the death of his father, he was brought by his mother to the Surgut region. He studied in Sytomino, then in Ostyako-Vogulsk. In 1937 the Surgut district military registration and enlistment office was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army.
