Residents of Nizhnevartovsk will take part in the All-Russian Forum of School Museums

The exhibition of the museum of the Center for Children and Youth Technical Creativity "Patriot" from Nizhnevartovsk became the best in Ugra. The Victory Museum summed up the results of the All-Russian competition for the best exhibition of school museums dedicated to memorable dates and events in the region during the Great Patriotic War.
The children and their teachers presented the exposition "The contribution of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug to the Great Victory". Being in the ranks of Siberian units and formations, the warriors-northerners showed fortitude and courage in the defense of Moscow, Leningrad and the Arctic. They distinguished themselves in the Battle of Stalingrad and the Battle of the Kursk Bulge, during the liberation of Poland and Czechoslovakia, in the assault and capture of Berlin. More than 5 thousand soldiers of the Ugra land were awarded orders and medals, 12 became Heroes of the Soviet Union.
Now the school team will take part in the 1st All-Russian Forum of School Museums, which will be held at the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Gora on November 20, 2021. As part of the event, an award ceremony will take place, and each team will be awarded a commemorative album with the best works from all regions of the Russian Federation.
In total, 1181 teams from 85 regions of the Russian Federation took part in the creative competition. More than 100 works have received high marks. However, in accordance with the regulations on the competition, the number of winners included one team from each region.
