Kibirev Dmitry Ivanovich

Born September 10, 1923 in the village of Polino (now the Vagaysky district of the Tyumen region) in a peasant family. In 1937 the family moved to the village. Samarovo (now Khanty-Mansiysk). In July 1941 D.I. Kibirev at the age of 17 volunteered for the front. Military rank: senior lieutenant. Position: Commander of a machine-gun company. Combat path: upon arrival at the destination of Omsk, he was sent to study at the 30th Kemerovo aviation-flight school, and then to the Irkutsk aviation-technical school. In November 1942 he was baptized by fire on the Volkhov front, in January 1943 he was accepted as a candidate member of the CPSU (b). In one of the battles in August 1943, he was seriously wounded, underwent treatment in the hospital for a long time, then was commissioned for injury with the 1st group of disability. Awards: Order of the Red Star, medals "For the Defense of Leningrad", "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", jubilee awards. After the war, despite his injury, he was actively involved in public work on the patriotic education of youth.
