Born in 1924, in June 1942 he graduated from the High School in Khanty-Mansiysk. In August 1942, the Khanty-Mansiysk RVK was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army and sent to the Belotserkovsky infantry school, which was evacuated to Tomsk. Vadim was an excellent athlete, was fond of skiing, was a prize-winner of many school city competitions. At the military school he played for the national team, won prizes in the competitions of the Siberian Military District. To the front V.V. Grishchenko was sent in March 1943 enlisted in the airborne forces. He died in October 1943 in the Kirovograd region.
