Borshov Nikolay Ivanovich

Born December 21, 1921 in the village Berezovo of the Tyumen region. In 1941 he was drafted by the Khanty-Mansiysk OVK into the ranks of the Red Army. He took part in the hostilities of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. He fought on the Leningrad front. He was wounded several times. Demobilized in 1945. Returning to Khanty-Mansiysk, he worked as an electrical engineer in the district communications center. Awards: Order of the Patriotic War, Order of the Red Star; medals "For the Defense of Leningrad", "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." He died on March 5, 1968, was buried in the city of Khanty-Mansiysk at the Yuzhnoye cemetery.
