Ivanov Bonifatiy Stepanovich

Born in 1908 in the village of Penny (now Kargosoksky district, Novosibirsk region) Before being drafted into the ranks of the Red Army, B.S. Ivanov from 1932 to 1934 worked as chairman of the general store in the village. Nizhnevartovskoe. Since March 1941 he headed the collective farm "Red Banner" in the village. Nizhnevartovskoe. A member of the CPSU (b) since 1932 1941, the Khanty-Mansiysk RVK was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. Battle path: in August 1941 he volunteered for the front, was sent to the 1214 infantry regiment as a private. He fought near Leningrad, Stalingrad, took part in the liberation of Belarus and Poland. Awards: Order of the Red Star; medals "For Courage", "For Military Merit". Description of the feat: participated in battles with the German invaders on January 16, 1943 as part of a group of 20 people in an artillery battery. From direct fire cannons, they managed to break 8 houses with active enemy points. When the enemy group retreated from Donskoy to Voroshilovgrad B.S. Ivanov and his comrades-in-arms destroyed 40 vehicles with ammunition, 20 carts, 50 enemy soldiers and officers. In the post-war period B.S. Ivanov worked as a party organizer of the regional committee at the Laryak fish factory. In 1955 he went to live in the Tomsk region. In 1960 he returned to Nizhnevartovsk. Until 1969 he worked as a worker on a collective farm in the village of Bylin, Nizhnevartovsk region. He died in 1990 and was buried in Nizhnevartovsk.
