Ivachev Vasily Iosifovich

Born on January 15, 1910 in the village of Ustyanka, Pyshminsky district, Sverdlovsk region. In a local rural school he graduated from 4 classes. In 1930 his family was repressed and deported to the village. Pokur. Vasily Iosifovich went to the front in 1942, leaving his wife and 2 children. Combat path: fought in motorized rifle troops in a mortar crew. In 1943 he was seriously wounded in the leg. In the hospital, the leg was completely amputated. Arrived home in the fall of 1944. Awards: Order of the Patriotic War, 2nd degree, Medal "For the Defense of Leningrad" and other commemorative medals. Returning to the village. Pokur got a job in a store. The store was completely on it: he was a seller, a loader, and a forwarding agent.
