Beznoskov Ivan Zakharovich

Hero of the Soviet Union (1918-1945). Born on January 20, 1918 in Tyumen in a working class family. He graduated from elementary school, worked as a carpenter at the Krasny Oktyabr woodworking plant. Since 1936, he is listed as a boat driver in the district department of the NKVD in Ostyako-Vogulsk (now the city of Khanty-Mansiysk). In 1938, the Samarovskiy RVK was called up for active military service in the ranks of the Red Army. In the active army since July 1941. Served as battalion commander of the 333rd Guards Rifle Regiment of the 117th Guards Berdichev Rifle Division of the 13th Army of the 1st Ukrainian Front. Combat path: defended Moscow, participated in battles for Kharkov, crossed the Don and Dnieper, liberated Ukraine and Poland. He was wounded five times, but each time he returned to duty. On January 25, 1945, the battalion of the commander I.Z. Beznoskov received the task - to force the river. Oder and seize a foothold on the west bank. OF. Beznoskov was among the first to reach the targets. Under heavy enemy fire from the ground and from the air, the guardsmen with a swift throw took the enemy airfield in the area of ​​Luben and captured 22 aircraft. By this they ensured the advancement of the entire division in the Berlin direction. In battle, Guards. captain I.Z. Beznoskov was wounded. On February 25, 1945, he died in a hospital by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 10, 1945 for exemplary performance of combat missions of the command on the front of the fight against the German invaders and the courage and heroism of the guard shown at the same time, Captain I.Z.Beznoskov was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Awards: Order of Lenin, Order of Alexander Nevsky, two Orders of the Red Star, Medal "Gold Star". In Khanty-Mansiysk in the Victory Park on the Walk of Fame, a bronze bust of the Hero was installed. Also, one of the streets of the city bears his name.
