Born in 1914 in Surgut, graduated from a seven-year school, then a communications school. April 4, 1936 N.P. Pankin was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. Nikolai Petrovich did his military service in the Ussuri region. After finishing his service in 1938, he returned home, then went to Tyumen, where he entered a military school. In 1941, after graduating from a military school, N.P. Pankin was drafted into the active army. Combat path: participant in battles on the lake. Hasan, then was transferred to the Leningrad front. July 31, 1942 N.P. Pankin was killed near the Silyanovo station in the Leningrad Region.
