Yak planes flew over Ugra with 2 thousand portraits of the heroes of the Great Victory

The action "Immortal Regiment in the Sky" took place in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug on May 9. On Victory Day, Yak aircraft flew over Khanty-Mansiysk with 2,000 portraits of participants in the Great Patriotic War. The action symbolizes the victory over fascism. The Yak-52 and Yak-54 planes were flown by the commander and pilots of the Barsa aerobatic team, which is based in Surgut.
For the first time, such an event was held in Russia in Ugra in 2019. Then on May 9, six Yak aircraft flew over Surgut with 12 portraits of participants in the Great Patriotic War as part of the Immortal Regiment in the Sky action. In 2020, the planes flew over Khanty-Mansiysk, Surgut, near Nizhnevartovsk and Megion. The organizer of the action is the Federation of Airplane Sports of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug.
