Ugra announced the competition “Leader of People’s Diplomacy”

During the V All-Russian Forum of National Unity, held on April 23, 2024, in Khanty-Mansiysk at the Regional Information Center, experts discussed one of the key topics of the forum, which is strengthening international humanitarian ties.

The discussion was attended by Natalia Zabolotskikh, political scientist, Director General of the Eurasian Center for Project Initiatives, Director General of Sirius Consulting, coordinator of the international competition “Leader of People’s Diplomacy,” author of the International Research Project “The Female Face of Public Diplomacy: from Motive to Action.”

Special attention is paid to the holding of the International Competition “Leader of People’s Diplomacy” in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Ugra. “The good news for us and for me, as the coordinator of the international project, is that we have agreed to hold the 3rd International Competition on the territory of the Autonomous Okrug with the support of the Government of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Ugra. Even though we live in geopolitically difficult times, for us such concepts as honor, dignity, and preservation of traditions, and knowledge, their transfer to the younger generation is what unites us and makes us the leaders of public diplomacy. A leader is not someone who divides in half, their responsibility lies in the fact that they unite, create, and lead a large number of people. This is the main idea of the entire project, which will be implemented, among other things, in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Ugra, for which I am especially thankful,” Natalia Zabolotskikh shared her plans.

Over 2 years, more than 1,000 people took part in the international project “Leader of People’s Diplomacy,” of which 463 semi-finalists and 60 finalists from around the world were released.
