In 2024, the media exhibition “Victory in Our Hearts” will be held for the 10th time and is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Russian Federation.
A group of activists will drive rare GAZ M-20 Pobeda cars from Ugra to China, the route includes Ulaanbaatar, Beijing, Dalian, Khabarovsk, Mongolia and Khalgin Gol. It should be noted that in 2024, compatriots from Moldova, Serbia, Belarus and China will join the Ugra residents.
The project “Victory in our Hearts” has been implemented by the youth of Ugra since 2012 in Russia and the post-Soviet space. It is aimed at popularizing the feat of the soldiers-liberators, countering the falsification of history, protecting historical truth, preserving historical memory, continuity in the development of Russia and its historically formed unity. The participants are students, schoolchildren, bloggers, representatives of public organizations. During the trip, they visit places of military glory, learn about the exploits of the liberators and about selfless work in the rear.
Over the years, the participants of the rally have traveled around the hero cities, visited the countries of Europe and Central Asia. The run was dedicated to home front workers and veterans of combat battles. The action of Ugra residents even received a TEFI prize for a film that was shot during the expedition.
In 2023, Ugra activists traveled more than eight thousand kilometers in rare Pobeda cars, they visited 30 cities in 20 regions, including four newly liberated regions.
