Kustyshev Ilya Mikhailovich

Born April 10, 1920 in the village of Shekurya (now Berezovsky district.) In 1940, the Berezovsky RVK was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. Combat path: as part of the 933rd artillery battery participated in battles from October 1941 to July 1945. From August to September 1945, fought on the 2nd Far Eastern Front, participated in the war with Japan. Demobilized in 1945. Awards: Order of the Patriotic War, II degree; medals "For Military Merit", "For Victory over Japan." In 1947, Ilya Mikhailovich married Anna Yakovlevna Filippova, then eight children were born: Vladimir, Mikhail, Tatiana, Ivan, Nadezhda, Andrey, Vera, Alexandra. In the postwar years, Ilya Mikhailovich worked as the head of the economy of the Shekurya boarding school. He died on May 9, 1988, was buried in the village of Shekurya.
