Was born on July 21, 1921 in Stalingrad. Before being drafted into the ranks of the Red Army in 1939, M.A. Gorbacheva worked as a typist at the Stalingrad post office and in the people's court. In 1942 she was mobilized into the Red Army. Combat path: from 1942 to 1946 Maria Aleksandrovna served in the ranks of the Red Army as part of military unit No. 21337. She took part in the defense of the Caucasus. Awards: Order of the Patriotic War, II degree; medals "For Combat Services", "For the Defense of the Caucasus", "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." She was awarded the Veteran of Labor medal. After demobilization until retirement in 1985, she worked in military units. She came to Urai in 1987 to visit her son. She died on August 11, 1989, and was buried in Urai.
