Born on June 28, 1925 in Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan. Civilian specialty mechanic. Member of the CPSU. In 1942 he was mobilized into the ranks of the Red Army. His combat path V.P. Boykin began in 1942 near Moscow in the tank forces. He fought to Poland and finished his service in Japan. Awards: awarded the medal "For the development of mineral resources and oil and gas complex of Western Siberia", awarded the titles "Veteran of Shaim", "Veteran of Labor". After the war he worked in Dzhezkazgan. Vasily Petrovich was one of the first to arrive at the Shaim field geophysical office in 1964. He worked as a chief mechanic.
