Zharnikov Ivan Petrovich

Born on July 15, 1924 in the village of Paderino (now the Chelyabinsk Region). Since 1938 he lived in Ostyako-Vogulsk. In March 1942 he was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. Combat path: participated in battles on the Second Belorussian Front. In April 1945 he was seriously wounded. After demobilization in August 1945 he returned to Khanty-Mansiysk, worked for 34 years at the state industrial farm. Awards: Order of the Patriotic War, II degree; medals "For Courage", "For the Capture of Budapest", "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", jubilee awards. He died on June 15, 1988.
