Merkulov Mokiy Fedorovich

Born in 1907 in the village of Malinovka (now the Aromashevsky district of the Tyumen region). Drafted for military service in the Khanty-Mansiysk OVK in 1941. September 1941 July 1942 scout of the 41st rifle brigade. Until December 1943, the 86th Infantry Regiment was a reconnaissance. October 1945 624th artillery regiment, reconnaissance headquarters battalion. Demobilized on October 21, 1945. Returned to Khanty-Mansiysk, where he worked for 28 years as a cash collector in the district office of the State Bank. Awards: Order of the Patriotic War II degree, two medals "For Courage", "For the Defense of Moscow", "For the Liberation of Prague", "For the Liberation of Budapest", "For the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." He died on January 25, 1989. He was buried in Khanty-Mansiysk at the Northern Cemetery.
