Born in 1908 in the village of Shchekurya (now Berezovsky District) in the family of Domna Mitrofanovna (Sainakhova) and Mikhail Filippovich Yaptin. In 1941, Illarion Yaptin was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army by the Berezovsky RVK. Combat path: served as a rifleman, participated in battles on the Leningrad Front as part of the 109th Infantry Division. Died February 18, 1943. Buried on the battlefield.
