Antonina Grigorieva

Worker of the rear. Teacher and statesman Antonina Grigorieva was born in the village of Bogdany, Kondinskaya volost, Tobolsk district, Tyumen province, into a Khanty family of fishermen.
She began her career in the district committee of the Komsomol as the head of the department of pioneers and school youth, then she taught schoolchildren in the Khanty-Mansiysk and Berezovskaya secondary schools, worked as an instructor of the RK CPSU, head of the organizational department of the Kondinsky RK VKP (b), editor of the district newspaper.
Since 1945, she was regularly elected to party and Soviet bodies - a member of the district, district party committees, a deputy of the district, district, regional Soviets of Working People's Deputies, and was even elected a deputy of the Supreme Soviets of the USSR and the RSFSR.
Antonina Grigorieva has come a long way from the Komsomol leader to a prominent statesman and public figure and has been awarded many government awards: the orders of the October Revolution, the Red Banner of Labor, Friendship of Peoples, Badge of Honor, medals, badges, recognized as an honorary citizen districts. And in 2001, the Tu-154 airliner of the UTair fleet was named after Grigorieva.
