Kugaevsky Alexander Filippovich

Born in 1921 in the village of Malo-Kugaevo (now the Tobolsk district of the Tyumen region). In October 1940, the Tobolsk RVK on the Komsomol call, interrupting his studies at the Tobolsk Pedagogical College, was called up for military service. He studied at the junior air force school in Spassk-Dalny in the Far East, specializing in aerial photography reconnaissance. Further service took place in the 9th Air Army. Combat path: from October 1943 to June 1944 fought on the Karelian and North-Western fronts, participated in breaking the blockade of Leningrad. In 1943 he was admitted to the CPSU (b). As part of the 1st Far Eastern Front of the 14th separate company of the aerial photo service, he took part in the battles with Japan. Demobilized in February 1946. Awards: medals "For Courage", "For Military Merit", "For the Defense of the Soviet Polar Region", "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", "For Victory over Japan", anniversary awards. After the war he worked as a teacher in the Tobolsk region. In 1953 he was sent to party work in the Khanty-Mansiysk National District. He worked in the Kondinsky and Samarovsky regional executive committees, headed the regional department of culture, was an instructor in the propaganda department of the Khanty-Mansiysk city party committee.
