In 1941 from Bylin (now Nizhnevartovsk district) was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. After completing the courses of communications, he was sent to a cavalry regiment. Combat path: took part in battles in Belarus, Ukraine, liberated Moldova, Romania, Hungary and Czechoslovakia. Met the Victory in the capital of the Czech Republic. He returned home at the end of 1945. Awards: medals "For the capture of Budapest", "For the capture of Prague", "For the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945." In February 1946 with his family he moved to the village. Bolshetarkhovo. He worked at the fish farm.
