The main character is called Seryozha Mukhin. In 1943, when he left the village of Samarovo for the war, he was only 17 years old. Exactly one year after a difficult battle in which Seryozha showed courage and heroism, he died of his wounds in the hospital.
The film is part of the documentary cycle "Exploits of the Ugra people", based on real events and original archival documents. The director is the Honored Worker of Culture of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, film academician Rinat Khalilullin.
