After the war he returned to Surgut and got a job at the Surgut regional communications center. Vladimir Kirillovich traveled all over the region, establishing communication with remote settlements. His last position at this enterprise before retirement was deputy chief. Residents of Surgut knew him as a good specialist and reliable comrade.
After retirement, Vladimir Kirillovich and his wife Olga Stepanovna left for Rybinsk. He passed away in 1977. He was buried in Rybinsk.
