Governor of Ugra met with the veteran of the Great Patriotic War

Veteran of labor, underage prisoner of concentration camps Dmitry Khlusevich was visited by Governor of Ugra Natalya Komarova during her working visit to Nizhnevartovsk.
Dmitry Andreevich was born in the village of Tukhinka, Vitebsk region. He grew up in a working class family. Graduated from evening school.
During the war years from 1941 to 1943, as a 13-year-old teenager, he helped the partisans - he collected weapons, ammunition, army equipment. In 1943, at the age of 15, he was captured by the Germans and sent to Buchenwald. He was released in April 1945.
From 1950 he served in the ranks of the Soviet Army. After 3 years he was accepted as a road worker.
He came to Nizhnevartovsk in 1976 from the city of Yelets, Lipetsk region. In December 1976 he was accepted as an instrumentation and control mechanic in the Nizhnevartovsk department of Nizhnevartovskneft named after V.I. Lenin, where he worked until his retirement in August 1989. At the same time, in 1997-1999 he continued his labor activity as a mechanic for instrumentation and automation.
Dmitry Andreevich has two daughters and four grandchildren. Awarded with jubilee medals 50, 60, 65, 70, 75 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
“Thank you, Natalya Vladimirovna, for such a sensitive attitude to us, to the veterans, to all Ugra residents,” Dmitry Andreevich turned to the Governor.
Natalya Komarova, in turn, wished the Ugra resident good health, to take care of himself for the preservation and transfer of historical memory to descendants.
