The total audience coverage of all participants: 225 thousand subscribers. Serbia is a centuries–old friend of Russia, a people who respect Russian culture and Russians. It’s nice that there are not only fellow countrymen who work in the region,” Ruslan Kuharuk said.

As the head of the region noted, it is important for the organizers that the Serbian media community tells the truth to its audience about Ugra, Russia, therefore, it is important to create not only conditions for professional development, but also a friendly atmosphere at the media school site.

During the meeting, the head of the region got acquainted with the musical project of Vyacheslav Stakhovsky from Khanty-Mansiysk “Sing! Ma!” where famous Ugric compositions of the past years acquire a new sound. In the near future, the project will appear on the Yandex.Music and VKontakte platforms.

Together with the participants, Ruslan Kuharuk recorded a musical prologue for the project and read a poem by the Khanty poet, honorary citizen of Ugra Maria Kuzminichna Voldina “Do not change a friend’s hand.”

It should be noted that the Russian-Serbian media school is held in partnership with the organization for the development and promotion of tourism among youth “Serbia for Youth” (Republic of Serbia), with the support of the Government of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Ugra, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

“Thanks to all the participants and experts. I thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia for its support in conducting a media intensive in Ugra. I believe that the beginning of a new international cooperation in the media sphere has been laid. Today, the participants presented their projects, and almost all the teams intend to implement them in full. Despite the distance between the authors. I am sure that you will tell the truth about our region, about the attitude of people towards you. It is especially valuable when it is not politicians who talk about it, but people with professional status. The media school should be useful not only for the residents of Ugra,” Ruslan Kuharuk noted.

The events of the media school are the result of the visit of the delegation of the Autonomous Okrug to the Republic of Serbia in October 2023 following meetings with representatives of the Ministry of Tourism and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Serbia.
