The international Media Expedition “Victory in Our Hearts” was launched.

On September 11, 2023, the media expedition “Victory in Our Hearts” started in the Hero-City of Sevastopol. After a solemn laying of flowers at the eternal flame, 27 participants set off on the road in legendary GAZ M-20 “Pobeda” cars, marking the beginning of the 9th international media expedition “Victory in Our Hearts.”

For ten years of the expedition's existence the participants have visited many cities of Russia, CIS countries and Europe.

In 2012, the rarity “Pobeda” cars for the first time set off on the initiative of the Ugra youth to the cities of the Ural Federal District. In 2013, the rally was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the end of the Battle of Stalingrad and passed through all Hero Cities of Russia, Ukraine and Belarus, becoming international. In 2014, a “Victories in Crimea” patriotic media expedition dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Crimea and the Hero-City of Sevastopol was held. In 2015, during the largest media expedition, the participants repeated the victorious liberation path of the Soviet soldier from the Hero-City of Stalingrad to Berlin. In 2016 and 2017, the media expedition was held in all municipalities of Ugra and was dedicated to the feat of Ugra citizens during the Great Patriotic War. In 2018, the media expedition was dedicated to the heroic feat of home front workers of the North, the Urals, Siberia and Central Asia. In 2022, the participants of the media expedition traveled along the route from Khanty-Mansiysk to Pochtovaya Glinka (Republic of Belarus), visiting many cities of the Russian Federation along the route.

This year they will have to travel 8,000 kilometers, visit 20 regions and 30 cities, including new territories of the Russian Federation
