Korikov Vasily Danilovich

Born on January 1, 1924 in the village of Shapsha (now the Khanty-Mansiysk region of the Tyumen region). Went to the front in August 1942. Combat path: sergeant, reconnaissance platoon commander on the Leningrad, Volkhov, Kalinin, and Third Belorussian fronts. In 1943 near Velikie Luki he was seriously wounded. He was treated in a hospital. I celebrated Victory Day in Konigsberg. Demobilized on April 12, 1947, after demobilization he arrived in Khanty-Mansiysk. Awards: two Orders of the Red Star, Order of the Patriotic War, 1st degree; medals "For Military Merit", "For Courage", "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.", "For Valiant Labor. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of V.I. Lenin", "Veteran labor ", jubilee medals. After graduating from the Omsk River College V.D. Korikov worked as a captain for 36 years in the river port of Khanty-Mansiysk. Died July 25, 2001.
