Rysev Yaroslav Sergeevich

Born on March 24, 1921. In 1938 Ya.S. Rysev graduated from the Surgut secondary school, then in 1942 from the Tomsk Medical Institute. Party membership: Member of the Komsomol (1937) In July 1942, the Tomsk RVC was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. Rank: Guard Captain (later Major) of the Medical Service Position: Chief of the Sanitary Service of the 24th Guards Mortar Konigsberg Brigade Combat route: from August 1942 he fought on the Western, 3rd Belorussian, Transbaikal fronts. He took part in the Oryol offensive operation (July 12 - August 18, 1943); took part in the battles for Manchuria (1945). Awards: Order of the Patriotic War, II degree, Order of the Red Star; medals "For the capture of Konigsberg", "For the victory over Japan." In 1958 Ya.S. Rysev took a five-month course on the training of leading health workers at the Department of Health Organization of the Central Institute for Advanced Medical Education. In the late 1950s, he worked as the head of the Tomsk Regional Department of Health. He died on December 16, 1961.
