Born on January 21, 1926 in the village. Saranpaul. He graduated from high school - seven years. In December 1943, at the age of 17, he was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army. After completing his studies in Omsk, he was sent to the front. At the front, he was a howitzer gunner, was wounded. Awards: medals: "For Courage", "For the capture of Koenigsberg", "For the Victory over Japan." In 1946 G.A. Arteev was demobilized and returned to his homeland. In the post-war period, he was looking for deposits in the Novosibirsk region. Then he worked in Saranpaul as a projectionist, took films to the mountains - in Shchekurya, Yasunt. Later he worked as a radio technician, then until retirement worked in the Ural Forest Guard as a bombing paratrooper. Together with his wife Appolinaria Timofeevna Kulikova, they raised three children: Lyudmila and Sasha. For success in work, more than once G.A. Arteev was awarded with certificates of honor and the "Labor Veteran" medal. Died October 5, 1989.
