From June 24 to 30, 2024, 50 compatriots from 12 countries of the world will visit the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Ugra under the Rossotrudnichestvo program “Hello, Russia!”
The delegation includes participants in competitions and Olympiads on knowledge of the Russian language, culture, and history of Russia, which were held in Uganda, Tanzania, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, France, Israel, Kazakhstan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Belarus, Moldova and South Ossetia.
The Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) has been implementing the program of cultural and educational trips “Hello, Russia!” since 2014.
The purpose of the program is to assist the younger generation of compatriots living abroad in the study of multinational Russian culture, and acquaintance with the historical homeland.
In the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Ugra, the “Hello, Russia!” program has been running since 2022 and this year it will be held for the third time.
A rich program awaits the participants: visits to museum sites, sightseeing tours, theatrical performances, participation in promotions, master classes. In addition, young people will take part in the opening ceremony of the international competitions for the Cup of the Governor of Ugra in rowing on rowboats, work on the creation of joint creative projects on the basis of the Ugra media school.
