Born on December 5, 1924 in the village of Kuvyr (Udmurtia) on August 11, 1942 V.A. Konstantinov was drafted by the Gylov military registration and enlistment office of the Udmurt ASSR. Combat path: took part in the battles for the liberation of Czechoslovakia and Poland. Awards: Order of the Patriotic War II degree, medals "For the Liberation of Prague", "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945", jubilee medals. He ended the war near Berlin as part of the 1613th Air Defense Regiment. Demobilized in July 1950. After demobilization he returned to his homeland. In 1968 he came to Urai. He worked as an excavator at the self-supporting section of the UUMN. Since 2001 he has been living in Sovetskiy in a nursing home for the elderly.
