“Russia has always been famous for its scientists. The names of our great physicists, chemists and mathematicians are known all over the world. Their followers, young scientists, are also the pride of the country. Victory volunteers regularly conduct such interactive formats and note the great interest of young people in studying the history of our country. More than 25,000 people have joined today's game, ”said Olga Amelchenkova, leader of the Victory Volunteers.
The "scientific competition" included 4 blocks of 6 questions. Participants learned about advances in the natural sciences, the nuclear industry and IT technologies. Young people figured out the identity of the first major Russian natural scientist, learned how natural ice was brought to the surface of the Earth. We remembered the most popular video of 2013 - the fall of the Chelyabinsk meteorite, got acquainted with the new crane of the Kursk NPP-2, as if revolving around the pole.
It is worth noting that during the game there were special inclusions that allowed the participants to see the work of the Russian Academy of Sciences with their own eyes. The audience got acquainted with its employees, unique exhibits, and also revealed what secrets are kept by the corridors of scientific museums and institutes.
Young scientists and historians, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Association of Student Patriotic Clubs “I am proud”, the “Sectoral Center for Capital Construction” of the Rosatom Corporation and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation have joined in the creation of the game.
