Brylin Ivan Alekseevich

Born September 14, 1911. Before being drafted into the ranks of the Red Army, I.A. Brylin worked in the city of Artemovsk in coal mines as a miner. On March 20, 1942, the Sukholozhivsky district military enlistment office of the Sverdlovsk region was called to the front. Combat path: took part in battles on the Kalinin, Third Belorussian, First Baltic fronts as part of the 212nd separate sanitary battalion. He liberated Smolensk, the Baltic States, Konigsberg. In 1944 he received a shell shock in one of the battles. Awards: Order of the Patriotic War, I degree, Order of Glory, III degree; medals "For the capture of Konigsberg", "For the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.", "For military services." Awarded the title of "Labor Veteran". Demobilized on September 25, 1945. From October 1945 to May 1959 he lived and worked in the Sverdlovsk region, then moved to the city of Urai and from June 1959 to 1967 worked at the Urai timber industry enterprise. He died in February 1998 and was buried in Urai.
