Gurova Alevtina Grigorievna

She was born on June 8, 1922 in the Perm region. After finishing the 7th grade, she continued her studies at the technical school of the dairy industry. She worked as a laboratory assistant for a year. In 1942 she volunteered for the front and was sent to the Far East. Alevtina Grigorievna completed her initial military training at the airfield in Spassk-Dalny, after completing her studies, she became a signalman. Combat path: during the Great Patriotic War Alevtina Grigorievna served in the Red Banner Aviation Guards Regiment, was a signalman, received encrypted telegrams. In August 1945, hostilities began in the Far East, the war with Japan. The unit in which Alevtina Grigorievna served was sent into the depths of Manchuria. While performing a combat mission to establish communication with the headquarters, Alevtina Grigorievna, together with her fellow soldiers, came under fire. A sniper bullet pierced through the radio station, which was on the shoulders of Alevtina Grigorievna, she was wounded in the back. After recovering, she returned to her unit again. At the end of November 1945, Alevtina Grigorievna was demobilized and returned to her homeland. Awards: Order of the Patriotic War, II degree; medals "For the victory over Japan", "For the victory over Germany", anniversary medals. In the post-war period, she worked as a secretary, after graduating from the correspondence department she began working as an accountant. Since 1956 Alevtina Grigorievna has been living in the city of Khanty-Mansiysk for 12 years working in a children's library. Alevtina Grigorievna's total work experience is 53 years.
