Having traveled through new territories of the Russian Federation, the participants of the media expedition reached Volgograd.
Here, the participants were greeted by representatives of the Volgograd branch of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, representatives of public organizations, and participants of the Special Military Operation. Together they laid flowers at the eternal flame and organized a festive rally-concert. At the rally they managed to meet a woman who as a child witnessed the German attack on Stalingrad. She shared with the expedition participants her memories of those terrible events.
The participants visited “Mamaev Kurgan” and “Motherland,” laid flowers at the monuments and honored the fallen heroes of the Great Patriotic War with a minute of silence.
